    First, you need to decide if you need headset covers two ears or just one. People normally use one ear headset in regular office envirnment and two ear headset in call center and service center.

    All headset models look similar. But not all fo them are compatible with your phone. Following are something you need to know before placing an order:

      1. What kind of headset jack does your phone has?

          In North Amarica, the popular headset jacks are RJ9 and 2.5mm.
          *  RJ9 headset jack looks like the regular telephone jack but a bit smaller. It normally located at the back of the phone next to the handset jack.
          *  2.5mm headset jack is a small round hole, normally located at a side of the phone.
          *  Some telephone do not have headset jack, not support headset.

      2. What is the phone's brand and model?

          For phones with RJ9 headset jack: Not all the phones with RJ9 headset jack work with same headset! You need to find out the brand name and the model number of the phone. (Some phones have the brand name printed at the front, many of them have the brand name and model number on the label at the back of the phone.) Then, click at the following link to find the compatible headset model from the Compatible List.

      3. For phones have 2.5mm headset jack

          *  Cisco and Polycom phones have 2.5mm headset jack are compatible with all OvisLink Call Center headsets with 2.5mm Quick Disconnect cord. The two headset models are OVHS072-25 (single ear), OVHS084-25 (dual ear).

          *  Home Office Desktop Phones with 2.5mm headset jack are not all work well with our 2.5mm headsets. Some of the phones 2.5mm headset jack are deep, that the 2.5mm connector can't fully plug in or not stay well. AT&T 983 and 993 are tested and work ok wiht our 2.5mm headsets with volume control, OVHS072-V25 (single ear), OVHS084-V25 (dual ear).

          *  Home Office Cordless Phones with 2.5mm headset jack may not work well with out headsets.

          Q: Connected a 2.5mm headset to my phone's headset jack, Can't find a "headset" button on the phone's keypad. How to use the headset?

          A: Some phones have 2.5mm headset jack does not have "headset" button but use the "Speaker" buttton to switch between headset and speaker phone function.


          Q: Connected a RJ9 headset to my phone's headset jack, pressed the "Speaker" button on the phone. Can't hear anything from the headset, only the phone's speaker is on.

          A: Most of the phones have RJ9 headset jack use "headset" button to activate headset, but not "Speaker" button. Some phones do not have pre-assigned headset button, like NEC, Allworx. In this case, you need to program a programmable key on the phone to be a headset button. Please refer to the phone's user manual for how to program a key.

          Q: Connected a 2.5mm dual ear headset to my phone's headset jack, the speaker volume is too high.

          A: Some phones home phone and home office phone's volume control does not control the headset jack. OvisLink headset model OVHS084-V25 comes with volume control to lower down the speaker volume.

    Warranty and Return Policy:

        All the products sold on this store come with 2 years limited warranty. Defective products can be returned for repair with in 2 years. Physical damage, devices damaged from customer loaded firmware, software or drivers, lightning, flood, fire, electrical, water and other "acts of god" are not are not covered by warranty policy. If the defective product cannot be repaired, it will be exchanged for the same model. If the model is unavailable or discontinued, it will be replaced with a similar model has the function you need. If a suitable model cannot be located a credit will be applied to your account.

        To send product back for warranty, please find RMA procedure below.

    New in the box return for refund or exchange:

        Product in brand new condition and in manufacturer packaging can be return within 15 days of delivery. Shipping charge will not be refunded. After 15 days, there will be a 15% restocking fee deduction. We do not accept returns for credit over 30 days from the invoice date. All returned merchandises must be in brand new condition and come with original packaging. All the return must be authorized before shipped back. Please allow 2 to 4 weeks to process refund after returned product received. To return any product, please find RMA procedure below.

    RMA Procedure:

  • 1. Email to sales@ovislink.com tell us the reason for return. Order ID, product MAC address or serial number should be included on the email
  • 2. We'll issue a RMA number and address to ship.
  • 3. Ship us the product. RMA number must be printed on the return shipping label.
  • 4. Once we received te shipment, we'll check the product and decide to repair, exchange or refund. If decided for refund, a check should be mailed out within 2 weeks.
  • Products are not eligible for return:

  • 1. None defective product removed from manufacturer packing.
  • 2. Products damaged from lightning, flood, fire, electrical, water and other "acts of god" are not returnable.
  • 3. Physical damage.
  • 4. Product is not return within 30 days.
  • *** Any return, included return for repair (under warranty), return for exchange and refund must be authorized by OvisLink. Return shipment without RMA number will not be processed.
